Rihanna is going all out on her seventh consecutive album, titled ‘Unapologetic.‘
The 24-year-old revealed the album title and cover (on which she appears topless) on Thursday, October 11, 2012, on her Instargram Page. ‘Ok I’m officially hype for my album cover!! I might just leak it early #sideeffects‘, Riri teased her fans before dropping it.
Suffice to say she immediately trended worldwide.
It’s not surprising to see Rihanna risking a nude album cover; this year alone she’s posted on social networks more than a dozen near-nude photos. The title ‘Unapologetic’ also suggests her feeling towards the critics, rumours and backlash.
Her first single off the album, ‘Diamonds‘ was released on September 26. The album is scheduled to drop on November 19, 2012, by Def Jam Recordings and SRP Records.
