Peter Rufai Discharged And Back To Camp.

Former Super Eagles goal keeper, Peter Rufai is hale and hearty and back to the field.

According to his younger brother, Bruce, Rufai, 49 has been confirmed fit and discharged  from the hospital.

‘He is much better now. We are happy he left the hospital on his feet even though we have not been told what went wrong with him. We are glad he recovered enough to recognize everyone and the hospital decided he will gain full recovery better in a familiar environment’, he said.

He further disclosed that Rufai has since returned to Ibadan where he is currently training kids for the Milo Football Academy.

Rufai was admitted on the night of Monday, October 15, 2012 at Toki hospital, in Surulere, Lagos after her suddenly slumped and lost conciousness.

Rufai, otherwise called Dodo Mayana is revered as a legend in the country’s football scene. He was the first choice goal keeper at the 1994 and 1998 Fifa World Cup finals.
