Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton And Taylor Swift Filled With Joy At The Country Awards.

The night was full of joy for couples Miranda and Shelton as they won several awards at the 47th annual academy of country music Awards held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on April 1, 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The show kicked off with the audience paying tributes to the bluegrass legend Earl Scruggs who died last week at age 88.

Shelton and Lambert where the big winners of the night taking away three trophies best male vocalist for Blake and two trophies for Miranda, female vocalist and album of the year for “Four the Record.”

Taylor Swift  won entertainer of the year,  Jason Alden and Kelly Clarkson also walked off with two awards, single record of the year and vocal event of the year for their duet “Don’t You Wanna Stay.”

Scotty McCreery, 19years former American Idol contestant who recorded the hit single “Water Tower Town” was named best new artist.

Towards the end of the show, a pair of country music stars Christina Davidson and Frank Tucci exchanged vows on the stage while Martina McBride and Train’s Pat Monahan sang a duet of the hit song, “Marry Me.”
