Martin Lawrence And His Wife Are Calling It Quits.

The Big Momma’s House star and wife Shamicka Lawrence are getting divorced after making “the joint decision to part ways.

The couple had been together for 15 years before getting married in 2010 at their home in Beverly Hills.

“Out of love and respect for one another, we will continue to remain friends and raise our two beautiful daughters together,” the couple said in a joint statement.

This was Lawrence’s second marriage. He also has a daughter with ex-wife Patricia, who’s now married to NFL Hall of Famer Emmitt Smith.

Lawrence, who also appeared in the Bad Boys films, just finished a nationwide sold-out comedy tour and shot a comedy pilot for CBS.
