Don Jazzy’s Mo’Hits record has signed a record deal with Kanye West’s GOOD Music.
The deal comes as an effort of months of negotiations between executives of the record companies. This deal among other things will witness the subsequent release of D’Banj on Good records.
We would recall that D’Banj pulled off some stunts some months back with a remix of ‘Mr. Endowed’ featuring US rapper Snoop Dogg. D’Banj was also nominated recently in the Best International Act Category for the forthcoming BET Awards. In the early hours of Thursday June 9 2011, D’Banj announced to his twitter followers that he had been signed to Kanye’s Good Music label. His words:
‘Just like yesterday myself and my brother did Tongolo. 7yrs later Mo’Hits signs with Good Music. Best birthday gift ever. God thank u‘
More details will emerge in the coming weeks as no official statements have been issued by Mohits or G.O.O.D.
